The item says there is a 50/50 chance of the foal inheriting the coat if the mare is covered at 30yo by a stallion who also has an Iris Coat..

1. Does this mean the mare has to be exactly 30?

2. Is this one time only or any covers after 30 years have this chance?

Cheers!

  • The mare has to be exactly 30 years old. You only have the chance to inherit the Iris Coat if you cover at exactly 30yers old.

You can cover your mare multiple times at 30years old if you equip her with a cloud pack. Don't use the clouds from the pack until after she has been covered at 30 years and had her foals. The cloud pack can be used to return her to 30years old to cover again a few times for more chances. You have to use the pack as you cannot add individual clouds to horses over 30 years old. However, Iris Coat foals are unlikely to be worth enough to cover the cost of the cloud pack so you may like to keep this in mind.

You can also use pieces of a cloud at the age of 30 since they can be given until then. But you have to use them immediately after the covering, or at least before the mare ages again.
It does not have to be the pack.
