Hi, Can anyone advise me on why some of my horses are unable to enter competitions?

The horses in question, have had their competition types made (Classic or Western).
They are not special horses.
They are horses that I bred myself, but for some reason I can't actually enter them into competitions. The competition icon is dull and I'm unable to click on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated default smiley (l)

    Hey,
    are they equipped with at least saddle cloth, saddle and bridle? For example, Maverick and dear Ronald Weasley are missing the saddle cloth.
